Matt Hawbaker owns and operates Interstate Heifer Care Service, boarding elite dairy cattle. Prior to the development of Interstate Heifer Care Service; he was employed as a professional dairy fitter.
Since then, Matt has prepared and exhibited numerous All-Americans and Reserve All-Americans in multiple breeds including having Junior Champions in the International Red & White Show, International Ayrshire Show and International Brown Swiss Show. Matt has hosted and co-managed the First Impressions at the Interstate Sales offering buyers elite dairy cattle.
He is also a semen distributor for AG 3 and Jetstream Genetics. Matt has judged numerous state and national shows, including the All-American Ayrshire Show, Red & White Holstein Show at the North American International Livestock Exposition, the Ayrshire show at the North American, Ohio Spring Dairy Expo Holstein show, Wisconsin Championship Red & White show and Associate Judge of the International Ayrshire Show. Matt, along with his wife, Sarah and two daughters, Kenley and Hadley reside in Clear Spring, MD.
