Carla Stetzer
PNJS Ayrshire & AADS Milking Shorthorn Judge
I’m Carla Stetzer from Alma Center, WI and am honored to serve as the judge for the 2023 Open Milking Shorthorn and Junior Ayrshire shows. I grew up on a 40-cow registered Milking Shorthorn dairy, which my brother and his family now own and operate under the RoVin Acres prefix. I have been involved with the American Milking Shorthorn Association in various capacities throughout the years and my boys continue to enjoy showing them. My husband Dan and I, along with our three sons Jay, Drew, and Sean enjoy raising and showing our Milking Shorthorns, Jerseys, and Holsteins. Along with cattle, we also farrow and show pigs which has been a fun new adventure the past few years. When we are not working with our animals, we are usually coaching or watching our boys play whatever sport is in season. I have been honored to have the opportunity to judge cattle locally and internationally. I have also enjoyed serving as our counties dairy judging coach alongside my sister for more years than I’d like to say. I have been a programs specialist with CentralStar Coop for 22 years, starting with Accelerated Genetics. This has given me the opportunity to travel and meet many great people in this industry. I am excited to serve as a judge and attend the All-American Dairy Show for the first time.
