IMAGE AWARD
Presented to an individual who has enhanced the image of the All-American Dairy Show with significant contributions of time and energy to promote its reputation, prestige, and welfare.
2025 Recipient: Betsy Musser
Betsy is a partner in Den Be Farms Inc., Enon Valley, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Dennis, and their daughter and son-in-law, Cassie and Nate Rassau. The Den Be herd was established in 1988, and in 1995 Dennis and Betsy purchased Dennis’s family farm. The Musser farm, where they continue to operate, traces back to a Revolutionary War land grant awarded to Peter Musser for his service.
Today, Betsy and her family milk a 165-head herd that includes Guernseys, Jerseys, Holsteins, Milking Shorthorns, Ayrshires, and one Brown Swiss. Over the years, they have bred and developed outstanding cattle across several breeds.
Betsy became involved with the All-American Dairy Show more than 20 years ago through her friendship with former director Denise Whiting, a past Image Award recipient. She began by volunteering wherever help was needed, from decorating show rings and picture areas to coordinating the All-American Supreme Pageant, which she helped build and oversee for more than 13 years. She has also served in various volunteer roles, including class starter, measuring top lines, ultrasound assistance, and ring sanitation.
Betsy remains deeply dedicated to the dairy industry, dairy promotion, breed associations, and mentoring youth.
